Nathan Strom

Sport, family, and strategic growth have been the three areas that have always got Nathan out of bed in the morning. His tenacious spirit to progress in these areas has given him a great balance to be where he is today. Over the last 16 years in his professional career he has achieved great success owning his own business, working in business development and marketing and most recently leading a very successful sales team at the national level.

If you have had the opportunity to meet Nathan, he is not one to do things at a slow pace. You will get to see his passion and excitement from the onset in almost everything he does. His professional attitude is always striving for the best for his clients and his own brand. Skinterviews gives Nathan the opportunity to help deliver important industry messages to the end consumer.

George Scandalis

A deep passion for product and technical knowledge has driven George’s professional development in the cosmetic dermatology and medical aesthetics space.

An early interest in cosmetics has led to over 12 years growing a deep and practical knowledge base in medical aesthetic technology and injectables, and a scientific understanding of skin care.   George has been a top sales and business development professional with leading brands, eventually developing successful go-to-market strategies to drive revenues and increase customer retention and winning multiple awards. He develops plans from patient consultation to completion, and understands clinic operations and challenges, as a previous medispa owner himself.

He is sharing his knowledge with the next generation of medical aestheticians as a Teacher at Centennial College.

George also has a passion for the arts, is a stage actor, playwright, director and most recently a published author. He founded a production company in 2015 and has successfully staged several productions of original works and a community-based artist expo and events.

Dr. Katie Beleznay

Dr. Katie Beleznay is a board certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. She completed her medical training and dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia and is a Clinical Instructor with the UBC Department of Dermatology. Dr. Beleznay is fellowship trained in laser and cosmetic dermatology and is active in research and clinical trials in aesthetic dermatology.

Dr. Beleznay has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters, and serves as a contributing editor for the journal Dermatologic Surgery.  She has been recognized for her research in the area of injectable complications and is a frequent speaker at international conferences, including the World Congress of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) Annual Meetings. Dr. Beleznay was also selected to participate in the prestigious ASDS Future Leaders Network.  She currently practices at Humphrey Cosmetic Dermatology and Seymour Dermatology in Vancouver BC.

Dr. Doris Day

Doris Day, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in laser, cosmetic, surgical and aesthetic dermatology. She is a medical educator and a highly respected and sought-after media personality. Her patients consistently experience the benefit of her commitment to maintaining both her academic and media influence.

Dr. Day is a clinical associate professor of dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center. Her success in this role has been recognized with the award for Dedication and Excellence in the Teaching of Dermatology. This honor, along with her continued affiliation with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, demonstrates that Dr. Day is dedicated to lifelong learning. She shares her knowledge by regularly lecturing nationally and internationally, both to her peers and to the public on the latest in aesthetic dermatology techniques.

As the owner of a dermatology clinic, Dr. Day understands that medicine is continually evolving and she is committed to enacting change in the field of aesthetic dermatology. She is a member of many relevant national and international organizations including the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, NY State Dermatology Society, New York Facial Plastic Surgery Society, and the American Honors Society of Dental and Facial Aesthetics. She has also served on medical advisory boards and training panels for Allergan, Valeant, Galderma, Merz and others. She is enthusiastic about teaching other physicians the art and techniques of soft tissue fillers, laser treatments and facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Anna Guanche

Anna Guanche affectionately known as “Dr. Beauty”, is a board-certified dermatologist, celebrity beauty expert and founder of Bella Skin Institute located in Calabasas, California. Dr. Guanche specializes in cosmetic dermatology, antiaging and beauty enhancements utilizing state-of-the-art skin rejuvenation procedures, laser surgery and injectables.

In addition to her private practice, which is one of only two private clinic sites approved to teach UCLA dermatology residents, Dr. Guanche was a member of the dermatology staff at UCLA Olive View Medical Centre, where she taught for 13 years. A sought-after lecturer, Dr. Guanche has been voted Los Angeles Magazine’s “Super Doctor” by her peers for seven consecutive years.

Dr. Guanche’s expertise has been featured on the Emmy-winning daytime show “The Doctors”, “Extra”, “Entertainment Tonight”, “KTLA”, Elle Glamour, Prevention, Shape, SELF, InStyle, Health, Yahoo!, HuffPost, MSN, Bustle, Byrdie and PopSugar, just to name a few.

Dr. Daria Hamrah

Dr. Hamrah’s entire educational and professional experience has been focused on cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the head and neck and has been engaged in the oral and maxillofacial surgery field for the past 15 years. He has been voted as the Top Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by The Washingtonian and was selected as Top Doctor in Facial Cosmetic Surgery by patient reviews in D.C.

Dr. Hamrah is also the one of the co-founders of “Alegria” a foundation for cleft, lip and palate and travels to Colombia annually to perform charity surgery for indigent children with facial deformities.

Dr. Brent Howley

Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Dr. Howley attended St. Francis Xavier University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree. From there, he went on to complete his Medical Doctorate at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where he was awarded the Silver D for outstanding performance and contribution to his medical class. Dr. Howley then attended the Orthopaedic Surgery program at the University of Western Ontario. He decided to shift his medical specialties to plastic surgery and completed his residency at the University of Toronto; one of the top plastic surgery programs in Canada.

He has published numerous articles and has given several award winning presentations at the national level. He has twice been awarded top honours for best clinical research in the field of plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto.

Within his practice, Dr. Howley’s clinical interests continue to be Facial Aesthetics, for both men and women, as well as Breast Rejuvenation. He and his team of professionals offer the highest levels of consideration and care along with a dedicated commitment to privacy.

In addition to his own practice, Dr. Howley is also a Consultant and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at the Moncton Hospital, the George Dumont Hospital and the Sackville Memorial Hospital. He is also an Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University, Department of Surgery. With his patients and clients in mind, he regularly attends workshops and training programs. He takes great pleasure in his continued education on the latest tools and technologies available within the plastic and reconstructive surgical world.

Dr. Kunaal Jindal

Dr. Kunaal Jindal received his medical degree from the University of Manitoba and completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto. His education and training has been further enhanced by an Oculoplastic and Aesthetic Surgery fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia and a Hand & Wrist Surgery fellowship at Toronto Western Hospital.

Dr. Jennifer MacIsaac

Dr. MacIsaac is a double board-certified Dermatologist with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the American Board of Dermatology.  She is also an active member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.  She participates in clinical research, has several peer-reviewed journal publications, and has been an educator and mentor with the University of Ottawa since 2008.  Dr. MacIsaac is an active participant in many areas within the Dermatology Division at The Ottawa Hospital.  As a member of the Aesthetic Women’s Group, she promotes best practices in aesthetic medicine.

Dr. MacIsaac completed both a Dermatology and Family Medicine residency at the University of Ottawa, and received her medical degree from the University of Toronto.  She completed a fellowship year in Cutaneous Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology as well as a year in Women’s Health following her family medicine training. Her Women’s Health fellowship included managing focused gynecologic conditions as well as more broad, hormone-related symptoms.

Dr. Sandy Skotnicki

Dr. Sandy Skotnicki is the founding director of the Bay Dermatology Centre and is Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, Department of Medicine in the Divisions of Dermatology and Occupational and Environmental Health. Dr. Skotnicki started the Bay Dermatology Centre in 2006 in an effort to provide a full-service dermatology centre that focuses on the patient, not procedures. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and immunology from the University of Toronto, and then earned her medical degree, graduating with the highest honors. Dr. Skotnicki completed her dermatology training at the University of Ottawa, and was awarded her fellowship in Dermatology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1997. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology.

She is a member of the Canadian Medical Association, Canadian Dermatology Association, American Dermatology Association and American Contact Dermatitis Society. Previously she was a Board member of the Canadian Dermatology Association and served as an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in the specialty of Dermatology from 2011-2016.
